Stage 2 – Client Acquisition

Welcome to stage 2 of starting a recruitment business, if you haven’t already complete stage 1 as there is no point you moving to stage 2 without competing all the steps. By now you should of set up:

  • Website completed and up and running
  • Linkedin (Profile & Business page)
  • Have your niche
  • Business email

Stage 2 is the largest of all stages and is broken down into 2 sections. This is part one of stage 2… confusing I know but bare with me it will all make sense.

Part 1 – Cold Emails

The most effective way to win clients is via email (if done correctly). These numbers below will scare you off completing this course but to give you an idea of the results. I won’t expect you to do the volume I did as I literally worked 16 hour days for a month straight every single day.

How many emails should you send? You will look to send around 100 emails per day. The minimum you will send a day will be 30. Your target for month 0-3 will be 3000 emails. This will result in clients guaranteed.

How do you do it? The method is called the 2-8 rule. You will find HR managers / Recruitment Managers / Talent Acquisition Leads to email. NO HIRING MANAGERS need to be contacted at any stage, no matter what anybody tells you. Please watch the video below.

Part 2 – Linkedin outreach

You will need to purchase Octopus for this method. You will be using it to out reach to clients to send messages and add candidates as well to get them ready for job orders that come in. I recommend Pro or Advanced to purchase.  No need to buy the unlimited package… you must stay before 100-150 messages/connections a day! So make sure you spread them out.

Connect with clients – 100 connections and messages a day. This will be literally the same volume as emails but on automations. The template message I send is below with clients I have closed in the last week. The 4th picture I passed on to somebody I am working with the start his agency as it is based outside of what I recruit for. All the others I have closed and are now my clients with live job orders and I basically used automation to close them.

Candidates with candidates – Target is 5000 connections of candidates. What you want to do is build a pool of candidates who could work at roles you recruit for. You do not need to send them a message… just connect so you build up your potential candidate pool. These people will be working in the sector you are recruiting in and will share, like and even apply for positions you bring on.

Results

You will have anywhere between 10-30+ clients if you follow this method correct. The shorter space of time you do it the better.

  • 3000 cold emails
  • 3000 Linkedin messages to clients
  • 5000 candidates connected with on Linkedin… even if they aren’t looking for work
  • Have your terms of business ready
