Facebook probably has the worlds biggest database of people in the world. You can find pretty much any information about people on Facebook and it gives you all the information you will need. It is extremely powerful for recruiters as you can see profession, skills, qualifications and whether the person is working on not. This method using a Boolean string search on google to find the right candidate profiles.
Step 1
Go to Google and search
Example: site:facebook.com (“accountant”) (“texas”) inurl:people
Or
Make your own: site:facebook.com (“skill”) (“location”) inurl:people
Step 2
DO NOT FRIEND REQUEST… you will come across as a weirdo.
Simply send a message on messenger. You can send whatever you like or use my message below:
“Hi [Name], I hope you are well. I have been tasked with recruiting for a [Vacancy/Job Title], would you or anybody in your network be interested at present?”
