In fact if you find the right company or business to work in, if it is in a busy well paying area and you have great customer service skills chances are you will be able to make more than £100 per day in tips. It does require experience in how to effectively run the floor of a bar or restaurant, however once you get up to speed you will forget about minimum wage.
Warehouse operative
Working in a warehouse can teach you many different skills, the first being time management and it is also one of the quickest ways to progress through to management as many people don’t last long as the hours are hard and long but the upside is there is less competition.
Cleaner
This is a job that will always be in demand and with Brexit around the corner chances are that many people will be leaving the UK that are working as cleaners. There is an estimated 800,000 cleaners full and part time working in the UK and there are tons of vacancies with wages as much as £10-£15 per hour
Door to Door sales
This is one of the hardest out of the 4 but the one you can make the most money in. It also leads to a career into sales as many of the best sales people started off at door to door. If you can make sales door to door you can pretty much work anywhere and make good commission.
